Medial Sounds
This middle sound activity helps your students identify the medial sound in CVC words. Use either the PowerPoint Show or Peg Cards to consolidate identifying medial sounds.
Included are 50 Peg Cards which requires students to identify and peg the correct middle sound. More able students can also write the missing sound in the word. The PowerPoint Show allows students to 'check' their responses. One click highlights the correct sound and a second click will show the missing letter in the word.
